The Klon Centaur Overdrive is a great replica of the legendary guitar pedal.

Build your own overdrive/boost pedal. This circuit is using the original spec FET-based op-amps with low noise operation and smooth top-end response. The 9v circuit gives plenty of clean headroom, whilst the treble control gives plenty of tone-shaping flexibility. Great for pushing a gritty valve amp into ‘screaming’ territory, these pedals also provide enough grit to stand alone as a medium-gain ‘crunch’ box.

Although this kit has quite a few components, it is manageable for anyone with a basic understanding of electronics. The wiring and installation is the hardest task and can be a bit tricky. You will find all the documentation including a detailed step-by-step tutorial on this product page.

The Kit comes with all you need: PCB, components, buttons, wires, jack and power sockets, footswitch and aluminium enclosure.
