The Classic Super Overdrive is built around a dual JRC4558D op-amp design.

It captures the warm, dynamic character and smooth clipping associated with the legendary Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive. The Gain control ranges from a subtle boost to classic crunch, while the Tone and Level controls make it easy to shape your sound for any guitar or amplifier. The Classic Super Overdrive is an ideal choice for blues, classic rock, and vintage-inspired tones. A timeless overdrive with the feel and character that never go out of style. The pedal has a 3-button setup, True Bypass and operates at 9v dc power

The kit is fairly easy to assemble for the DIY builder who already has experience from previous builds. Please note that the wiring is a bit messy due to the design of the kit. You will find all the necessary documentation including a detailed step-by-step tutorial on this product page.

Everything you need is included in the kit: PCB, components, buttons, wires, jack and power sockets, footswitch, rubber feet, printed waterslide decal and a pre-drilled aluminium enclosure. We recommend you to have some heat shrink tube ready for the wire connections.
